We’re over the moon at the Van Wert County Council on Aging! After what seems like years of waiting, senior citizens can now enjoy their brand new, beautiful new senior center.

We’re located at 220 Fox Rd. in Van Wert and our new center offers everything we’ve previously offered–with a whole lot more. In addition to our daily mealsite, our center offers a place for senior citizens to come and enjoy fun and fellowship through one of many activities offered daily.

Favorites include euchre, pinochle and bingo. And there’s always a special event right around the corner. Our most requested service, senior citizen transportation, continues to provide you a safe way to get where you need to go! Need help with your supplement insurance? We can help. The Van Wert County Council on Aging is currently raising funds to construct a new senior center on Fox Rd. in Van Wert. Our current facility, located at 717 E. Crawford St., lacks parking and space needed to grow our agency. Fundraising efforts began in 2007 and continue today. The COA needs to raise $600,000 for the entire project.
